Paid plans and extra credit

Terms of sale

What you are buying, what it costs, how to cancel, and your rights. Plain words, in the order you will need them.

Version 2026-10-17. Try The Bible.

1. Who we are

These terms apply when you buy a paid plan or extra AI credit on trythebible.co.uk. Reading, comparing, memorising and the manual Pastor’s Friend tools are free and are not covered by them.

Seller: Alkhadi Koroma, trading as Try The Bible.

Address: Flat 72, Priory Court, 1 Cheltenham Road, London SE15 3BG.

Email: info@trythebible.co.uk. Telephone: 07467 437 773.

2. What you are buying

A paid plan includes an AI allowance each month for AI drafting in Pastor’s Friend. Extra credit adds to your AI allowance. You need a verified account to buy.

Each AI request uses up to three times its calculated provider cost from your allowance. This is an included allowance, not exact pay-as-you-go billing, and you are not charged again for it.

The allowance is five sixths of what you pay in pounds, to the nearest penny: of every £6 you pay, £5 is AI allowance. If you pay in another currency, it is worked out from the amount in pounds, and Stripe’s conversion fee adds nothing to it.

AI drafts are starting points that you must review. We do not promise any particular result.

  • Sermon Starter: £9 a month, with £7.50 of AI allowance each month.
  • Sermon Plus: £24 a month, with £20.00 of AI allowance each month.
  • Ministry Pro: £49 a month, with £40.83 of AI allowance each month.
  • £5 adds £4.17 of AI allowance.
  • £10 adds £8.33 of AI allowance.
  • £20 adds £16.67 of AI allowance.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. Plans are charged monthly, in advance. Extra credit is charged once.

Your card is charged when you order and then on the same date each month until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

Stripe may show you the price in your own currency, which it chooses from where you are. If you pay in that currency, Stripe’s exchange rate includes a conversion fee of 2 to 4 per cent, which Stripe sets. You can choose to pay in pounds instead; your card provider then converts the amount and may charge a fee.

If you start a plan in your own currency, it stays in that currency until you cancel. Later payments, such as monthly renewals, are converted at Stripe’s exchange rate on the day they are taken, so the amount in your currency can change from month to month while the price in pounds stays the same. A plan paid in pounds stays in pounds.

If we change a price we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it reaches you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

4. Starting straight away

Your plan or credit starts as soon as your payment is confirmed. To order, you must ask us to start straight away. Section 8 explains what that means for your right to cancel.

5. Renewals and cancelling

Plans renew every month until you cancel. To cancel, sign in and choose “Stop renewal” on the Plans page. You do not need to email us.

Your plan then stops renewing and your allowance stays available until the end of the month you have paid for. Before that date you can choose “Keep my plan” to carry on.

We do not refund the rest of a month you have already paid for, except under section 8 or where the law requires it.

6. Changing plan

An upgrade starts straight away. You pay the difference in price for the rest of the current month, worked out by Stripe to the second and shown to you before you order, and the extra AI allowance is added at once: five sixths of that payment. From your next renewal you pay the new plan’s full price.

A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal. You keep your current plan and allowance until then and nothing is charged or refunded.

If the payment for an upgrade fails, your plan does not change and you are not charged.

7. Extra credit

Extra credit can be bought at any time while you have a paid plan. It is a one-off payment and never renews. It lasts 12 months from the day you buy it, even if your plan ends, and is used only after your plan’s own allowance.

Unused credit is not refunded as money, except under section 8 or where the law requires it. If a payment is refunded or disputed, any credit left from it is removed.

8. Your right to cancel within 14 days

If you are buying as a consumer (not for your trade, business or profession), you have the right to cancel a new plan, an upgrade or an extra credit purchase within 14 days, counted from the day after you buy, without giving a reason.

You asked us to start straight away, so if you cancel within the 14 days you must pay a proportionate amount for what we have already supplied up to the time you tell us you are cancelling: the share of the AI allowance you have used. We refund the rest.

If we have fully supplied what you bought before the 14 days end (for example you have used all of an extra credit), you lose the right to cancel that purchase, because you asked us to start straight away and agreed to this before buying.

To cancel, email info@trythebible.co.uk saying you cancel, with the email address of your account and which purchase it is. You can use the form on the Cancellation and refunds page. We refund within 14 days of receiving your notice, to the card you paid with. If you paid in your own currency, the refund goes back in that currency at the same exchange rate as your payment.

9. If something goes wrong

Nothing is taken from your allowance for an AI request that fails before it reaches the AI provider or that produces nothing usable for you.

If you have a problem with a payment or with AI drafting, email us and we will put it right where we can. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by these terms.

10. Complaints and the law

Please raise any complaint by email to info@trythebible.co.uk first. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring a claim in the courts where you live.
