About Us

Small steps in Scripture. Faith for everyday life.

Our purpose

Try The Bible exists to help people make time for God's Word and carry its message into everyday life. We bring reading, memorisation and practical study together, with support for those who also teach and preach.

You do not need to learn everything at once. Begin with a passage, think about its meaning and build a rhythm you can return to.

Ways to grow with Scripture

  • Read with understanding

Explore a passage in context before choosing what to memorise. Understanding the message gives your practice a clear purpose.

  • Make a meaningful connection

Use flashcards, picture cues and memory hooks as prompts to help you engage with a verse.

  • Practise recalling

Look away from the answer, try to remember what you have read and use the questions to reflect on its meaning.

  • Return and reflect

Make room for regular practice. Take manageable steps, revisit familiar passages and consider how their teaching applies to your life.

What you can explore today

  • Bible reading and comparison using the Berean Standard Bible and World English Bible.
  • Memory flashcards with visual prompts and questions.
  • Reading plans that can begin on a date you choose.
  • Points, streaks, badges and quests to encourage participation.
  • Pastor's Friend tools for organising notes, preparing sermons and using a focused preaching view.

Core learning and manual sermon tools are free to use without an account. Learning progress is stored in your browser on that device, so keeping a separate backup where supported matters.

Supporting those who teach

Pastor's Friend connects personal study with sermon preparation. Gather ideas, organise your message and return to the passages you want to remember.

Where available, optional AI drafting can assist preparation. Generated material remains a draft for you to check, edit and take responsibility for before teaching. AI drafting requires a verified account; it is separate from the free manual tools.

Scripture handled with care

We value clear references, accurate wording and a distinction between Bible text, study notes and personal reflection. Memory aids support engagement with a passage; they do not replace the passage itself.

Worship and thoughtful reflection also belong at the heart of our purpose: helping people move from reading words on a screen towards living out what they learn.

Who is behind Try The Bible?

Try The Bible was founded by Alkhadi Koroma. Its purpose is to make Scripture learning approachable and to support believers, teachers and pastors as they grow in understanding and share what they have learned.
