Paid plans and extra credit

Cancellation and refunds

How to stop a plan, your 14-day right to cancel, and how a refund works.

Version 2026-10-17. Try The Bible.

1. Stopping a plan

You can stop a plan at any time on the Plans page with “Stop renewal”. Nothing more is charged. You keep your allowance until the end of the month you have paid for, and you can change your mind with “Keep my plan” before then.

2. The 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer you have 14 days from the day after you buy a new plan, an upgrade or extra credit to cancel it and ask for your money back, without giving a reason.

You asked us to start straight away. So you pay for the part you have already used, and we refund the rest.

  • How the part you used is worked out: the share of the AI allowance from that purchase that you have used, applied to the price you paid.
  • Example: you buy Sermon Starter for £9, which includes £7.50 of AI allowance, and you have used £3.00 of it. That is 40% of the allowance, so £3.60 is for the part you used and £5.40 is refunded.
  • If you have used none of it, the whole payment is refunded.
  • If you have used all of it before the 14 days end, there is nothing left to refund and the right to cancel is lost.

3. How to cancel within 14 days

Email info@trythebible.co.uk with the email address of your account, what you bought and the date, and say that you want to cancel. You may copy the form below, but you do not have to.

We will confirm by email and refund to the card you paid with within 14 days of getting your notice. If you paid in your own currency, the refund goes back in that currency at the same exchange rate as your payment.

4. Cancellation form (optional)

To Alkhadi Koroma, Flat 72, Priory Court, 1 Cheltenham Road, London SE15 3BG, info@trythebible.co.uk:

I/We hereby give notice that I/We cancel my/our contract for the supply of the following service: [plan or extra credit and the date I bought it].

Ordered on: [date]. Name of consumer: [your name]. Email address of my Try the Bible account: [your account email]. Date: [date].

5. Other refunds

Outside the 14 days, a month you have already paid for is not refunded when you stop a plan, unless we have not provided the service or the law requires a refund.

If a payment is refunded in full by us or reversed by your bank, the allowance it bought is removed. What was already used stays used.
